dishnepal has distributed setup box to its dealers. the channels shown are colors, vh1, mtv, and 10 nepali channels. Although this has brought smiles to the dishnepal dealers, there has been a serious question raised as how dish nepal is uplinking more than 32 channels from a 4.5 meters Mercantile Antenna. If Dish Nepal is uplinking channels from some other location than Nepal, they will have to answer a lot of questions to the MOIC, which might jeopardize their whole structure. It is also heard that due to this reason, Mercantile has requested Dish to move to another location.
One other thing to mention, dishnepal has tied up with Sony Bravia, which again shows how dishnepal marketing is more competent than hometvs.
This info has been twisted to one side only, how cud you say Dish Nepal has uplinked from other than Nepal.The guy should know about it, that thre earth station is in Mercantile durbarmarg.Very foolish guy dun't know even how can it be possible to uplinke from any other country , very fool
ReplyDeletein this world, nothing is impossible. tell me how a 4 meter antenna can uplink 32 channels? if you can verify technically that a 4 meter antenna can uplink 32 digital channels, i am with you buddy, otherwise, there is no need to fool people.
ReplyDeleteDIsh nepal doesnot have antenna capable of transmitting more than 40 channels..they are targeting to use NTCs antenna which may be built after 1 year.Since setting up 10 m antenna costs more than 5 crores in Nepal, they are not investing in antenna as they can use NTCs in lower cost if they wait for some years.Till that time ,Dish Nepal will be providing less than 40 channels.We can make guess why dish nepal is broadcasting just 30 channels if they have many nepali channels left for broadcasting .In fact they dont have capability to add these free nepalese channels like nepal 1..
