hometv and dish nepal are two brands of DTH (Direct to Home) broadcasting service that have advertised to provide services soon. There might be other players, But for now, hometv and dish Nepal seem to be in a very aggressive marketing campaign to provide the services. It will be interesting to see how Dish Nepal with backing from TBN (Kantipur, Image etc.) as well as the notorious Unity Group, will fare with the hometv group which is backed by IME, Prabhu and vetran businessmen.

I seriously think that Dish Nepal and Hometv should unite and form one company. That is the only way they are going to sustain. Otherwise one company is sure going to go down the drain.
